What are your shipping policies and charges?

  • Glassware Galore ships merchandise from the South Eastern United States via UPS Ground Delivery to a physical address (no P.O. Boxes).
  • At this time, we are unable to ship internationally.
  • FREE shipping on orders of $100.00 or more per address.
  • Orders of $50.00 to $99.99 are charged a flat rate of $5.00 per address.
  • Orders of $25.00 to $49.99 are charged a flat rate of $7.50 per address.
  • Orders of $24.99 or less are charged a flat rate of $9.95 per address.

When can I expect to receive my order?

  • The majority of our orders ship within 2-3 business days of placement. It is important that we take the appropriate care in selecting and packaging your order to enable receipt at your address in the best condition.
  • Glassware Galore ships merchandise from the South Eastern United States via UPS Ground Delivery to a physical address (no P.O. Boxes). Therefore, the time it requires to reach your address is dependent upon your location.
  • On average, the majority of our customers receive their merchandise within 7-14 days of order placement.

What if I want to cancel or return my order?

  • Orders can be canceled only if they have not yet been processed. As soon as you have determined that you desire to cancel a placed order, please utilize our "Contact Us" form and include "CANCEL ORDER" in the subject line.
  • If your order has already been processed, you still have the option of returning the unopened merchandise within 10 days of delivery. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer and items are subject to a 20% restocking fee.
  • To process a return, please utilize our "Contact Us" form and include "RETURN AUTHORIZATION" in the subject line.
  • NOTE: Refused shipments will incur a 25% restocking fee in addition to the actual cost of shipping both ways.

What should I do if an item is received damaged?

  • Glassware Galore guarantees all our products to be free from breakage or defect. Although we make every effort to carefully package our merchandise, it is certainly possible that glassware may become damaged during the shipping process.
  • If any of your merchandise is received damaged or broken, please contact us regarding the damage within 5 business days of receipt and we will replace your order at no additional cost to you.
  • To initiate the exchange process, please utilize our "Contact Us" form and include "DAMAGED MERCHANDISE" in the subject line.
  • Note: You may find tiny imperfections or color variations in the hand painted glassware merchandise. This occurs because the glassware is entirely hand decorated and/or mouth blown. Such variations are part of the charm of these works of art and contribute to making each piece unique and special.

What is the best way to care for my glassware?

  • Do not expose to rapid temperature changes or extreme temperatures.
  • Do not place in the microwave, oven, dishwasher, or freezer.
  • Avoid placing in direct sunlight.
  • For best results, avoid contact with metal utensils when stirring or serving.
  • For candlesticks, do not secure candles with molten wax or allow candles to burn within three inches of the candle cup. Drip less candles are preferable. If wax does adhere to candlestick, clean gently with denatured alcohol.
  • Store your glassware right side up; do not stack vessels. Avoid sliding or twirling the glass.
  • Avoid contact with hard or abrasive materials. You may wish to cover display areas with protective felt.
  • Avoid packing glassware in newspaper or other moisture-absorbing materials for long periods of time; soft cloth or bubble wrap is preferable.

What is the best way to clean my glassware?

  • First and foremost to keep in mind is that fine glassware is NOT dishwasher safe. Washing these products in the dishwasher will cause dramatic loss of color in the luster, along with a fading of the 24k gold accents (where applicable).
  • Hand wash using a non-abrasive cleaner in warm water. You may wish to cushion the sink with a towel or rubber mat.
  • If stains appear on the vessel, gently rub with half a lemon, wash with vinegar, or soak the interior with powdered dentifrice dissolved in lukewarm water.
  • In areas with very hard water and high mineral content, distilled water will help prevent staining.
  • To dry, use a soft, lint-free cloth, or air dry.
  • To avoid scratching, dust with a soft, lint-free cloth dampened in a mild solution of 1-part ammonia to 3-parts water.
